With more than 12 years of newborn photography experience, we provide the wraps, outfits, props and headbands needed for your session. During our posed newborn collections, an assistant is also present to help with baby spotting and safety, so you can relax while we take the time your little one needs.

When Should You Book Newborn Photos?

Newborn portraits are ideally photographed during the first 7–14 days after birth, when babies are often sleepiest and most comfortable in those curled newborn poses. We recommend reserving your session before baby arrives whenever possible, using your due date to plan ahead.

Already had your baby? Please still reach out. Every baby is different, and beautiful newborn portraits can absolutely be created outside that traditional two-week window.

Newborn Photography FAQs

When should I book my newborn session?
Reserve during pregnancy whenever possible. We'll plan around your due date and finalize the session once baby arrives.

What if my baby is already older than two weeks?
Please reach out. While 7–14 days is preferred for traditional newborn posing, we photograph older newborns too and will plan the session around your baby's age and comfort.

Do I need to bring outfits and props?
No. Our studio provides wraps, newborn outfits, props and headbands for your session. We'll plan the styling with you beforehand.

Can parents and siblings be photographed with the baby?
Yes. Parent and sibling portraits are available with our family-inclusive newborn collections.

Where is your newborn photography studio?
Our private studio is located in Mundelein, Illinois, convenient to Libertyville, Vernon Hills and families throughout Lake County and the North Shore.
